We get up in the morning and some mornings we go running, unless curling up with a fresh cup of coffee, is the preferred choice… And for that moment, the day allows us to breathe…
Then the rush starts… Getting ready for work, commuting (on the days we don’t work from home, thanks to changes out of lockdown) or otherwise just working, working, working… hitting the shops on the way home and hoping to skip loadshedding…
But then we light a fire and pour a glass of wine – even on week days… And we get a chance to breathe again, while watching the Kalahari TV…
This is what we do, while we have to be in the city, earning a living… But we tolerate the city life at the moment, as it enables us to escape, every now and again… And when we escape, we can breathe from the first cup of coffee, to the last drop of wine every day, while we are away…
